Crazy Frog Racer 2, or Crazy Frog Arcade Racer in the United States, was released on December 1, 2006 and is the sequel to Crazy Frog Racer. Like the original, it was developed by Neko Entertainment. It was published by Valcon Games in the United States and by Turtle Games in Europe. It was released on PlayStation 2 and PC. It features added bonus content, new mini games, new characters, and tracks based on Crazy Frog music videos.

Like its predecessor, this game is a kart racing-style. There are twelve tracks total, with four cups based on the music videos, each with three tracks.

Development

Following the release and success of Crazy Frog Racer, development began on Crazy Frog Racer 2. Up to the release of the sequel, the first game sold more than 140,000 copies in the UK.

A new website was also created for the game, crazyfrogracer2.com.

Bonuses

Unlike the first game, bonuses are no longer purchased using coins. Instead, more similarly to Mario Kart, a player must collect a Power Up coin to be randomly given a power up. This also means that certain power ups are no longer character exclusive. Similarly, nuts can be collected to repair vehicle damage.

It is a powerful light that will blind the opponent just behind you for a short while. It works only once so you should try to use it when it is the best moment. The projectile automatically targets the opponent, if he is inside the target zone. The Boost will help you get out of problems and take a serious positional advantage. You can only use it once. The Shield will protect you for a short while. You can use it for example when your about to win, this will definitely settle the odds in your advantage.
