Crazy Frog Racer Java (2D and 3D versions) are 2007 Java ports of Crazy Frog Racer for cellphones by MobilityZone. There are three versions of the game: 2D, 2D (Christmas Edition) and 3D. An official description from http://www.mobilityzone.net/ promises:

The Annoying Thing finally gets to star in his own mobile version of Wacky Races! Blast around racetracks as the Thing in this highspeed riot of a racer. Blast and bash your opponents, collect up many power ups and super speed boosts. Multiple game modes, online highscores and up to 20 different tracks make this the craziest racing game a Frog could ask for!

Crazy Frog Racer Java 2D Christmas Edition

An official 'mod' of the 2D version, with the whole game re-textured into a Christmas theme. The title screen is changed, main menu theme is a mashup of original theme with "Jingle Bells". Avatars of the racers have Santa's hat and coats, Sub Drone have gold star on his skull logo. Tracks are covered in snow and sky box have Santa's sleigh and decorations.

The characters are the same as the original 2D version.

Crazy Frog Racer Java 3D

The 3D version has actual 3D models of the racers, and random low-poly objects appear on the side of the road.

The roster is slightly different from 2D version. Notably, three characters were cut.

Gameplay

Use Left and Right to make a turn, and Up to gain speed. After collecting a bonus, press the 5 key to use it. Use 0 to jump over obstacles. Be sure to avoid traps placed by other players and black circles with a red arrow, as they will slow you down.

Modes

There are four modes to play:

• Single Race: Race a randomly selected track.
• Way of the Frog: Unlock all events in this mode to access The Ultimate Challenge.
• The Ultimate Challenge: Gather coins and medals to unlock new events and Crazy Story Mode
• Crazy Story Mode: Random events will stand in your way.

Bonuses

There are useful items you can collect during a race:

• Lightning: A random item will be added (extra speed, shield, homing missle, rockets, power wave, mine, moving rock, side thunders, autopilot). Beware of side switcher. Do not use it!
• Medkit: Add a bit of energy
• Coin: Add 200 points
• Speed Up: Temporary speed boost

• On some versions of the game, the names of the racers are mixed up.
