The Annoying Thing skitshow was supposed to be Crazy Frog show in 2005[1], although, only one episode was made.
German prodco The League of Good People was in talks with broadcasters about making a TV series based on the Crazy Frog character. In August of 2005 AT Merchandise, the firm that represented Crazy Frog on a global level at the time, was seeking an animation studio to take the character further. Al Ovadia of Al Ovadia and Associates, the North American licensing agent for Crazy Frog in 2005, confirmed the news in Cannes at the weekend.
In 2007 the skitshow was presented by The League Of Good People for Kaktus Film. Series of 52 one-minute shorts should have come out for cell phones, online distribution and TV to promote for the main event. Alongside, the CGI movie should have developed. It should have been completed by the end of 2008[2], but canceled for unknown reason. Only first episode has been made.
Episode 1
The first episode made by ex Kaktus Film staff member Tommie Löfqvist.[3]. File name is skitshow.mov. Animation was later reused in The Flash
"1 minute animation, Crazy Frog having more problems then usual. The manuscript is great, I would love to do more of these :-)"
Synopsis
Everything starts with The Annoying Thing logo and Bodenständig 2000 - In Rock 8 Bit as in original animation.
Crazy Frog stands in a plain white space with cubes in the background (reminiscent of the original The Annoying Thing animation) He sighs, letting out a frosty breath which tingles and startles him. He curiously let's out a "bem" and begins blowing icy breath again. He begins shivering and rubbing his hands together, generating an electric spark between his hands. He stares in amazement, then shocks himself in the face, launching him backwards. The spark begins travelling around his body, on his foot, butt, and hands, making him run in fear. He stares at the camera, with thunder sounds in the background. Crazy Frog gets shocked by the thunder cloud above him a few times, and he hides under his helmet in fear.
A giant, dark storm cloud grabs Crazy Frog with a bright yellow spark and throws him in the air, slamming him on the ground and charring him.
