From The Crazy Frog Wiki

These have been commonly referred to as "lost media", which its topic has made a large impact on the Internet in recent years.

Crazy Frog Collectables: Faces is a 2008 Nintendo DS puzzle game developed by Cypron Studios (now Cypronia). It was allegedly published by the now-defunct Mercury Games, publishers of several other titles from the Crazy Frog series, including one named Crazy Frog Collectables: Art School, meaning that Collectables Faces was a sequel. The game centers around the Crazy Frog character. Not much information about this game remains online.

There is a gameplay image of Crazy Frog Collectables: Faces in French Crazy Frog Collectables: Art School's booklet. This is the only unedited image of the game.

Gameplay

A short description of the game is available on the archived Cypron Studios website, which calls it a funny puzzle game for the Nintendo DS which supports Single-Card Multiplayer.[2] Not much about the gameplay is known. A possible description describes a matching game, where one chooses a face and has to choose all the matching ones, which is similar to the Wanted! minigame from Super Mario 64 DS/New Super Mario Bros.

Crazy Cheebo: Puzzle Party

Crazy Cheebo: Puzzle Party trailer

The game was released with assets replaced in form of DSiWare game "Crazy Cheebo: Puzzle Party". Hands and legs of the main character Cheebo still resembles hands and legs of Crazy Frog, some shapes still resembles Crazy Frog (for example, Crazy Frog on the rocket), antagonist still named Drone, many assets have "cff" (Crazy Frog Faces) in their name.

History

Besides the mention on the archived Cypron Studios website, little info on the game remains online. It's unknown whether the Mercury Games website contained anything about the game, as it's no longer available and the only archive they have is from 2007, a year before the game was even set to be released.[3] Two Spanish forum posts have been found claiming that Crazy Frog Collectables: Faces (among other games) would be released for €19.99 by Koch Media in 2008, which might've been the game's publisher in Spain.[4][5] Some French websites also mention the game, but without concrete new information.[6]

Search

It's uncertain whether the game was released. considering the fact that the game was listed under finished games on Cypron Studios’ website, and that it was fully rated by PEGI (and not listed as rating pending on the cover), one would think it's highly likely that the game was in fact released. On May 27th, 2019, LMW Forum user SpongeBot678 tried to start a search on the game by contacting a Cypronia developer via email. The developer replied with an indistinct message, saying that Mercury Games went ruined in 2008 and the Cypron Studios developers weren't paid, considering that the game was cancelled and never released. No further updates came from the forum user.[7][8]

Jamster Allstars

Jamster Allstars or Jamba Allstars in non-English speaking countries, was a cancelled 2007 video game for PC and Playstation 2 developed by Mercury Games, under the label Turtle Games.

Plot & Gameplay

According to the game's original website, Jamster Allstars was an action-adventure platformer game, with puzzles, challenges, and boss battles. It was stated that the plot involved Crazy Frog stealing all of the music notes from the world of Jamster, leaving it up to the Jamster allstars to get back the music themselves.

From what we know, there were four playable characters in the game all based off of previous Jamster properties, them being Sweety the chick, Nessie the dragon, Jambo the elephant, and No. 1 from Mad Dawgz. They would each have their own abilities that could be used to solve puzzles and complete tasks within the game.

Buying the game would also come with various bonus features, including a free premium ringtone and other special stuff.

Cancellation

According to an article from July 2007, Jamster Allstars was originally reported to be released on September 14th, 2007. According to another article released on September 17, it would eventually end up getting pushed to November 2007, until updates on the game's progress went quiet. It is speculated by many that Jamster's dwindling reputation and shady business practices are part of the reason as to why the game was never released.

Screenshots

To this day, only a handful of screenshots from Jamster Allstars have been found online. Rarely, most of them don't feature Crazy Frog, and it is currently unknown if he even makes a physical appearance in the game to start with.

Y.M.C.A

Main Article: Y.M.C.A.

Y.M.C.A. is a Crazy Frog track, which was supposed to be released on the US version of Crazy Hits. However, the track was never released. There are many sources online listing it as one of the tracks.[9][10][11][12] Despite this, no actual recording or reupload seems to exist. It would be a cover of the 1978 song of the same name by American disco group Village People.
