Box art

Crazy Frog Racer DS is a port of Crazy Frog Racer to the Nintendo DS. It was released on November 2, 2006, and was developed by The Code Monkeys and published by Mercury Games.

Unlike the Game Boy Advance port of Crazy Frog Racer, this port is more true to the original game. The game features low-poly 3D models of the tracks and characters from the original game, except for Matilda, who is not unlockable. The music is also the same, but digitized for the Nintendo DS hardware.

Gameplay

The gameplay is identical to the original game, except does not feature the Jukebox, Chase or Arena modes. Multiplayer uses the Nintendo DS Wireless Play functionality. The minimap, coins, and bonuses are shown on the bottom touch screen.

The three cups, Baby Cup, Funny Cup and Crazy Cup are present, but not the hour-long Special Cup.
