On July 1, 2020, the account posted an image of Crazy Frog hanging from a noose, which received backlash from users.[2] The tweet was quickly deleted and an apology was issued, which has also since been deleted.[3] The account also faced backlash due to the announcement of official Crazy Frog NFT's to be released by Metabeats.
