The Outrageous Plushes (or First Wave Plushes) are the plush toys manufactured for Vivid Imaginations Ltd. in the UK and distributed by Outrageous Int'l HK Ltd. (BANDAI in some countries). Due to copyright and licensing restrictions, the plushes, as well as other merchandise, had been released under the name "The Annoying Thing." These items were picked as best-sellers for Christmas 2005, particularly The Annoying Thing Singing Plush, which plays the Axel F ringtone when squeezed. There are two main designs of these plushes: those based on Crazy Frog in his Axel F and "The Annoying Thing" appearances ("The Annoying Thing"), and those based on his Popcorn and Daddy DJ appearances ("The Holiday Thing"). There are also very similar backpacks by Concept One Accesories.

"The Annoying Thing" plushes

The design of these plushes were based on Crazy Frog's more well known appearances. Like in the videos, the plushes wear a black cloth vest with a "The Annoying Thing" logo on a back. Also, they have small rounded open goggles on a white helmet (some bootlegs have big padded goggles). The helmet is sewn to the head of the plush. This plush was also featured in Jamster mascots plush set. Box of the plush is different from original one - it have whole plush set on the back. There are five variants of the "The Annoying Thing" design:

Giant

This plush is around 3,6 feet tall and by design it's almost the same as large one but more detailed in glassees.

Large dancing & singing plush

Large dancing & singing

These plushes have highly detailed teeth and highly detailed goggles, compared to the other plushes. This plush moves its jaw, body and hands to the beat of music, while playing small part of Axel F (beginning of Crazy Toy Song before "Let's Do the Crazy Frog") when the button on its leg is pressed.

Medium sized singing plush

Medium dancing & singing

These have much less detailed teeth compared to the giant plushes. They also play Crazy Toy Song when the button on its leg is pressed.

Medium

Almost exactly the same as the "Medium dancing & singing" plush, except it's doesn't move. This plush plays first half of 2TAKTARE.MP3 when squeezing its belly.

Key chain

The smallest and least detailed of them. Its design is more simplified, as the goggles and teeth are flat in comparison to the others.

"The Holiday Thing" plushes

These plushes were based on Crazy Frog's other music video appearances, where he is known as The Holiday Thing. These plushes have an orange floral shirt with a pair of removable plush headphones on hook-and-loop fasteners. There are two variants of this design:

Singing DJ

A medium-sized plush which plays a currently unknown remix of Popcorn when pressing its belly.

Key chain

Like the "The Annoying Thing" key chain, it is a simplified version of the medium plush.

Prototypes

There are two prototype plushes known to exist:

"The Annoying Thing" prototype

Axel F prototype plush

This is a prototype of the medium sized "The Annoying Thing" plush, and has some notable differences from the final product. In terms of color, the vest is a brown color instead of black, and the belly is same color as whole plush (blue instead of white). Unlike the final product, the teeth are flat, more like the final key chains. The eyes are a simple green color without detailed irises. The prototype was featured on official shop, theannoyingthingstuff.com.

Winter prototype

These plushes would have been based on Crazy Frog's Jingle Bells and Last Christmas appearances. It would have had a Christmas hat, scarf and mittens. The plush would most likely have had a sound chip in it, like the other "singing" plushes. It was featured in More Crazy Hits: Ultimate Edition booklet, but was never released to market.
