Pondlife - Ring Ding Ding cover art

Pondlife is the musical group formed by the former DJ on BBC Radio One, Wes Butters, and a group of DJs and producers. They made first ever Crazy Frog song that was released as a track.

Ring Ding Ding

Creation

Butters and his friends were in the pub when Jamster Crazy Frog advert was on. This is where the idea for the track came from. In January of 2005 Wes played "Ring Ding Ding" track on Radio One at 4.30 am. After the feedback, both positive and negative, Butters tried to get it out as single[1]. Due to copyright problems, Jamster refused to allow Pondlife to release it. First Pondlife's CD single "Ring Ding Ding" was released on 6th June of 2005 with a slightly different Crazy Frog: he was green, with a long frog-like tongue, wearing snorkel goggles and underpants; instead of 2TAKTARE the voice was very well parodied.
